The Car

New for 2024, I have purchased a 1.0litre Volkswagen Polo SEL. The Polo is fully air conditioned and has power steering. The drivers seat has a large range of adjustments which allows for a more comfortable driving position. It also has the automatic stop/start system which allows to the driver to stop the engine in waiting traffic and to start the car again by simply pushing down the clutch pedal. Also parking assist front and rear which an audible alarm will detect when you are getting to close to an object in front or behind. Also fitted is a reversing camera. Those learning to drive during the winter months, there is also heated front seats.

It is a really easy car to drive with good all round visibility, so learning to drive should be a relatively stress free experience.
