New Drivers Act

Under the New Drivers Act your driving licence will be revoked if you build up 6 or more penalty points within two years of passing your first driving test. If this happens you will need to reapply for your driving licence and revert to a learner driver again.  This means that you will have to retake your theory and practical driving test again.

After passing your retest your penalty points will still remain valid for a set period of time
