Terms & Conditions - Discover Driving

On agreeing to take driving lessons from us, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. We reserve to right to alter or amend the Terms & Conditions, fees and requirements. It is your responsibility to clarify any points that are vague or not understandable to you.

Your driving licence must be produced on the first lesson and Theory Test Certificate (if passed). This information may be used to check, change or cancel a test on your behalf with your permission unless booked by your instructor who may change your test as they had booked it on your behalf.

When you book driving lessons with us, you enter into an agreement to receive driving lessons from a fully qualified and approved Driving Instructor and agree to our Terms & Conditions as published from time to time on our website.

The price rate you agree to when you start your lessons may change as and when lesson fees change, then you will have to pay the rate being charged at that time.

Driving lesson fees are payable in advance, at least on the day of the lesson. All intensive driving courses, and/or intensive lessons including Pass Plus courses have to be paid in advance.

DVSA driving test fees are to be paid for at least one week in advance of the actual test date. We reserve the right to cancel any tests that have not been paid for by this date. You must have at least a one hour lesson on the day of your test before your test and pay for the use of the instructor’s car for the duration of your test; this is at standard lesson rate. You may, if you wish to, use any other vehicle to take your test and this would mean you do not need your instructor to accompany you, thus saving you the cost of the use of the instructor’s car and the lesson fee for the hour before your test.

If you cancel your lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend the lesson; we have the right to charge you for the lesson.

We cannot guarantee a driving test pass and do not offer guarantee pass courses. We cannot be held responsible for mechanical failure of the vehicle prior to or during the driving lessons or driving tests. We will endeavour to provide continuous tuition but cannot guarantee a similar vehicle.

If you commit any traffic offences, e.g. speeding, then you will be responsible for  any  penalty point and fines.

Foot-wear should be flat slim soled with full support all round the foot. No flip flops or sandal type foot-wear
